Ann Jamison, MPH, RDN - Communications Support Contractor

Ann Jamison joined ODS as a communications support contractor in 2004. In this role, she works with the communications team to write consumer fact sheets and maintain the ODS website and the Dictionary of Dietary Supplement Terms.

Ms. Jamison also supports several other NIH contracts, including the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cancer Information Analysis and Tracking (CIAT) project, the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center, and the National Library of Medicine’s Genetics Home Reference service. She is employed by ICF, a global consulting and technology services company.

Before joining ODS, Ms. Jamison was the NCI CIAT Summaries Manager from 1996-2004 for ICF and Aspen Systems Corp. In that role, she led a team of writer/editors and translators who updated NCI’s Physician Data Query database of cancer information summaries, wrote patient abstracts of clinical trials, maintained the NCI Dictionary, and supported the media review group.

Before working at ICF, Ms. Jamison worked for Infoteq as a Site Supervisor for NCI’s Drug Management and Authorization Section contract, and for RII International as a supervisor for the National Institute on Aging’s information clearinghouse contract.

Ms. Jamison received her M.P.H. from the University of California, Berkeley, and her B.S. in community nutrition from the University of California, Davis.
