Madison Haise, M.P.H., Presidential Management Fellow

Madison Haise, M.P.H., is a Presidential Management Fellow at the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS). She brings a robust background in public health, with expertise in health policy, food systems access, and health equity. In her role at ODS, she contributes to research initiatives and program strategies aimed at understanding dietary supplement use and advancing nutritional approaches to chronic disease prevention.

Her academic and professional focus centers on the intersection of nutrition, dietary supplements, and chronic disease prevention, with a commitment to promoting evidence-based and accessible health interventions.

Prior to joining ODS, Ms. Haise gained valuable experience in the government and nonprofit sectors, focusing on health care systems and strategies to improve health equity. Her previous experience includes AmeriCorps service with the International Rescue Committee’s New Roots Community Garden Program, where she supported food security initiatives for refugee and immigrant communities. Her work emphasizes policy, systems, and environmental change strategies to address health disparities, particularly among low-income populations disproportionately affected by chronic diseases. She also has conducted research on nutrition-related social and behavioral health risks, advocating for culturally sensitive and sustainable health solutions.

Outside of her professional role, Ms. Haise enjoys outdoor activities, including biking, hiking, and gardening as well as reading and spending quality time with friends.

She received her B.A. in sociology from the University of Virginia and her M.P.H. from the Colorado School of Public Health, where she specialized in health systems, management, and policy.
