ODS 25th Anniversary Scientific Symposium — October 25–26, 2021
The ODS 25th Anniversary Scientific Symposium showcased ODS contributions to landmark scientific accomplishments in dietary supplement research; featured presentations by experts in the field of dietary supplement science; highlighted ODS's part in training the next generation of dietary supplement researchers; and discussed considerations for the future of dietary supplements research. The symposium was open to the public and nearly 1,000 people attended the virtual event.
Lunchtime Seminar Videocast, "Dietary Supplements: What You Need to Know" — March 16, 2021
More than half of adults and one-third of children in the United States take one or more dietary supplements such as multivitamins, omega-3 fish oil, St. John’s wort, or melatonin. During this 1-hour presentation, nutrition scientists from ODS provided an overview of dietary supplements and describe what you need to know to inform your decision-making about whether and when to take these products.
