Scientific Report of the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee

The public is encouraged to submit written comments to the federal government on the Scientific Report of the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC). The DGAC's charge was to review the knowledge available about the relationships between nutrition and health and provide recommendations for the federal government to consider for its next (2015) edition of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Comments are being accepted through April 8, 2015. Both the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will review all comments as it prepares Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2015 for joint release at the end of this year.
